Shaping

Shaping requires scientific knowledge of the tree’s biology as well as the right technique for an attractive result in the longer term. Different types of shaping are selected to match the spaces and species to be treated. Thinning enables light to filter through, but also prevents wind damage. Architectural shaping, such as screening, matches the volume of ornamental trees to the available space to give structure to formal gardens or to fit into the urban landscape. Pollarding offers specific geometric shapes (cups, canopies, arbours). And finally, pruning and training fruit trees relies on the technique known as “trigemme” [three bud] for optimum results. Our strength: proper healing thanks to appropriate plant-care treatment and first-class tools.
